Surgery for Neuopathy?

I was wondering if any body has had decompression surgery to help with peripheral neuropathy. I saw an advertisment in the newspaper by a podiatrist who claims this type of surgery is 90% effective. I have small fiber neuropathy and am looking for anything that truly helps. Is anybody familiar with this procedure, it is the same thing as carpel tunnel surgery and also can be done on feet as well. thanks for your replies

From what I have seen online from patients commenting on the various surgeries (Dellon procedure is one), it has not been
very praiseworthy.

Do a search in the search engine, on page 1 of PN here, using
keywords: It is in the upper right of page 1.
decompression
and then another search for Dellon.

The problem is that the feet do not heal like the hands do.
So surgical solutions are mixed in success or benefit.

People often come here a few times, make comments then leave, so using the search will bring up 4+ yrs of examples.
Some here may have input too, but I found 30 threads with "decompression" and 13 for "Dellon", just now.

Searches don't carry over into posts, so you have to do them yourself, sorry.
