Infrared personal heater
I just purchased a Presto HeatDish Plus from Costco, that's an infrared heater. It can be aimed at certain parts of your body if you have it closer than 3 feet or your whole body between 3-10 feet. It's not meant to heat a room, just your person, and might work for those who live with other "normal" humans...so you can still share the same space. It was $60.
As I've written before, I'm a fan of infrared saunas, so I'm hoping this works out. If anyone else uses one, I'd love to hear your opinion. It does seem to work very fast (within minutes) heating up my limbs that don't react much to a standard heater. The only other thing I've ever been able to get to work is soaking in a hot, hot tub for a long, long time. |

I've tried saunas and they delivered a lot of comfort until the plates in my wrists got warm and then caused pain. I'm afraid heaters might do the same thing. But hey, that's me... |
So Jimbo, you're like the Six Million Dollar Man? Maybe that explains the weird dancing pepper fetish--a software glitch! :)
I have no metal parts fortunately. |
I wish I was worth 6 million :yahoo:
I got a rod from my shoulder to elbow, a 4 inch plate in my left wrist and a 1 inch plate in my right... |
