Dr. Richman in NY - Is he expensive? What kind of treatments does he do?

Wishing you are having a pain free day!!!!!

I need to find a good RSD doctor as my RSD continues to try to spread and really need to see what are all the options. Some of you told me in the past that the best dr. is Dr. Richman. But, I believe someone in this post said he doesn't take insurance. If so, how expensive is he? Is he out of network then? What about procedures like blocks? Are those covered by insurance?

I truly would appreciate any info you can give me about him and his office, as well as his procedures. Thank you so much for all of your help. As you know, having symptoms where there should be none, can be the most terrifying thing in the world. Thank you so much for your help!!!!!!:)

I used to see a Dr in Ft Washington. He took no insurance. Now, I see an internest, they are all board certified, He's such a great help..and takes ins,

I'm in PA, and I think you need to find a doctor (check with your insurance carrier!) That's how I found my new doc.
Really great, and I just spent a week in the hospital, got diabetic, and more, so, I'll stay with this new doc as long as I can, I think!

Really,, I have BC/ PPO, and they;re good.

I saw doctor Richman and he is a wonderful doctor, he helped when I needed a foot surgery. As far as I know he does all treatments. When I saw him I did the in-patient ketamine. He did say after me he wasnt going to take any full body patients I think I scared him that much that he said he was changing his whole protocal because of me. After the surgery even with the ketamine I was in a big flare. As for if he is expensive my medicare and blue cross insurance paid for everything so Iam not sure exactly what it was as my mom does all that paper work. He is worth seeing though he knows everthing about RSD. Hope this helps.

Where is Dr. Richman located in NY?
 

What kind of doctor Richman ? Where in NY is he located. I have recently been diagnosed with RSD and I am looking for someone who is familiar with RSD.

Dr Richman is at the Special Surgery Hospital in NY and is a pain specialist. Iam not sure what the wait is like to see him, I got in really soon because my other doctor got me in quick to try and take care of my neuroma in my foot.
