Tears came to my eyes

I stumbled across this site accidently while trying to find out what my rehab specialist's title was. It actually brought tears to my eyes to find that there was a place to chat with ppl who were so much like me. It's great to meet all of you. I too suffer with many of the same problems. Two slipped discs in the neck with a nerve pressing on one them had left me almost paralyzed on the left side although I do have some motion now and Ive also been dealing with not only fibromyalgia since age 12 but also depression, anxiety, PTSD and Chronic Fatigue syndrome. The pain is the hardest to deal with right now as Im finally in a great relationship and have a good support system. It is my hope that this site and the ppl here will add to that support and that I may also be a support to those here as well. Ty for having me...:)

Hello & Welcome!!

Happy to see you have come to be with us. As you can tell we have a great number and caring fellow members here, just let us know how we can assist, you will see we are a supportive and relaxing place. Have fun looking into the different forums. Our shoulders are here for support in many ways. I see you have already found Spinal Disorders & Back Pain forum.

Again welcome, looking forward to seeing you around. Happy Holidays to you and your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Ty for your quick reply to my post. I seem to be having trouble navigating the site though. I know I need to do *edit* new posts in order to be able to chat with folks but have no idea how to do this other than the intro one I've done. I have replied to some of the others I've read but still can't chat with anyone. I not only have spinal issues but also suffer with fibromyalgia, PTSD, depression, anxiety and Chronic Fatigue syndrome as well. The pressure all of this puts on my significant other is just tremendous and I'm so happy to have found a place to vent and hopefully help others as well. Any help would be appreciated, I'm so excited to get started!!! Happy New Year to you as well... :)

Hey,

It is a great place to find.

You will find so much here, it's hard to explain how deep the help can be.

I'm not myself lately. It's been a rough year. Hoping next year will yield some peace.

You do have to post so many times before you're free to roam and do as you please. It won't take long. I forgot how many posts.

The "SEARCH" feature above is handy to find quick reference.

You will be overwhelmed by the information here.

There's so many here who do understand, who have been there, you will find lots of understanding and suggestions that will help you.

And yes, you will help many others here.

So, take your time and get settled in. It is a great place!!!

Hello SamsSweetPea!

It's so great to have you with us here at NT!

The support and understanding is wonderful
I hope you are finding your way around the forums ok. Just holler if you have questions.

You'll get lots of good info at the Spinal forum.
Maybe I'll see you around some of the other forums as well....The Depression/Anxiety, Chronic Pain, PTSD, etc...

Again, it's wonderful to have you!

Caring,
Rae
