Adding a Little Info to This Thread

Yesterday's New York Times had an article on Vitamin D. The "experts" quoted in that article said that they would like to start seeing everyone at Vitamin D levels above 30 nanograms. According to them, the average currently in the total population is 13-22 nanograms. They also state that 1,000-2,000 IUs per day of Vitamin D supplement is both recommended and safe.

At the time of my diagnosis of Small Fiber Neuropathy, I had a Vitamin D level of 48 ng/ml. My only supplement then was my daily multi-vitamin, which includes 1,000 IUs of Vitamin D.
