Hi- Happy New Year

Hello, new to this forum. I have Mixed Connective Tissue Disease. Anyone else with this disease?

Happy New Year to you, too.

NT is a great place to find information.

not that I've read, or been dx'd with.

Don't sound like fun...

Was trying to SEARCH and couldn't GO without losing this post...

so I'll post the link on another post... :D

I used "SEARCH" and got this URL:

http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/se...tissue+disease

it has several pages.

Just to get you started. You're not alone here.

Hope you find some answers and understanding.

Take care...

introduction

Hello all, my name is robbie and i am 52 years old. In november 2011 i had a scs system implanted. That is when the nightmare began. first, i woke up in the middle of the procedure, resulting in me thrashing around and subsequently cutting my head open requiring six staples to close. The surgeon said on the surgical report that the cut "was less than a half inch in length"...(lie)...there was no checking to see if anything else occured. I have been in excrutiating pain since. the stimulator has never worked, at this point, i think it has created more issues than previous. the pain center dr. who referred me for the implant has not once looked at the site. i am in the process now of wanting to have it removed. but first the pain drs nurse says he wants to see me first so he can "document everything correctly"...now he wants to do everything correctly?.. i have not had appropiate pain management in the last year..i am forced to see the same group who screwed me up because the insurance adjuster refuses to authorize another dr., thats the basics of whats been going on..i would appreciate anyone who might have advice on any options 4 me...thanks, and god bless
