deydration
Am I dehydrated? I always feel dry mouth. My eyes cannot handle contacts. I drink more water than most people I know, but it doesn't seem to do anything. I have a lot of dry issues, dry skin, eyes, skin gets itchy (in cold) and hands look terrible (but I wash them constantly as I have OCD). I have "vulvodynia" which usually feels like I am dry.
Does dryness have anything to do with PN? I know it has to do with autoimmune, especially Sjogrens, but I'm not diagnosed with that in particular. I did feel better this last month after being on my progesterone, but right now after the temp has dropped into the 20s (in Florida) I am dry again. Is there anything I can do to help this? I have a white spot on the side of my tongue, it can be caused by THRUSH, DEYDRATION or B DEFENCIENCY or worse, mine's been here since late summer, same time all this stuff started really badly. Just wondering. Nutrionist once said to take electrolytes or V8. I drink mostly water all day, herbal tea or wine at night. I know everything has to be related. |
Very dry skin can also mean you are very low in essential fats... which our bodies need to maintain flexibility and integrity.
Flax oil and fish oil help with this...and are also anti-inflammatory. There are smart foods now with flax oil added. Peanut butter even. Omega 3 eggs, Omega 3 spread butter substitute. You should be having salmon once a week at least. Supplements for these two oils are not expensive either. WalMart has a good selection in fact even. People with Candida in the bowel, can have thrush and/or vulvodynia symptoms. The best natural way to fix this is to avoid sugar and white carbs in the diet (this starves the yeast), and use Kefir 4-6 oz daily to replenish good bacteria in your GI tract. http://www.lifeway.net/ This is tons better than Chinese herbs IMO. Once you stabilize this your whole body will be much much better. A week on Kefir daily and you will be amazed! |
