tarlov cyst
 

fours ago,,i had really bad attack w bladder dr said my bladder is full inside and out of cyst..3months later 4 cysts were took out right breast and there were no cyst in left,,6 months ago dr finds 3 cyst in left breast... anyway 2years ago something pulled r tore in rite side of back and i laid in bed 3months couldnt walk ,hardle stand r sit straight up.. drs said i had torn mucsles....i knew something was wrong and couldnt get help,,so after 2years and 11dr's 5months ago i was told i have tarlov cyst..i hv cyst on rite side of brain ,in my shoudler rite side,my breast ,down my spinal cord and hip and tail bone..... i hurt 24-7....im about to lose my mind because i cant find dr here in louisiana that can treat this.... ive had so many MRIs and test i hv all paper work test results,but no body wants to help me..please please is there any drs in louisiana who knows what they doing and know how to treat this ....theres days where i cant get out bed and do anything.. im single mom w 3 kids and my boys have to do tooo much of my jobs..... i have part time job and it really kills me to work.. cant stand over 4 hrs and then im hurting so bad and cant hardle move.... i just dnt get that there is no drs around that can treat this...please help...im at end of my rope and dont no watelse to do.....

I want to say hello to you and offer comfort. You have found Neuro talk, a very compassionate group of individuals. Your post does sound desperate. Please keep posting, and someone will answer you, perhaps about a doctor in your own state of La. I am in Florida. I do not know what a tarlou cyst is, but I will go on line and find out about it. This is one I have no knowledge of. I know there will be someone who knows a bit about this who will answer you. As far as diaganosis, in my own case I went to mayo clinic. There is one in Jacksonville Fla. I would highly recommend this instituation, as they are known for their ability to diaganos and treat conditions. They will get to the bottom of things with some fairly exhaustive testing. They can also direct you to places in your home state that deal with the condition you have. I went to the clinic in Minn. and was directed to columbia university in Mo. a teaching hospital. I did get my diagnosis at Mayo, with all current knowledge about my condition. Your doctor can make a referal to go there, if that is something you think you would want to do. Please have heart, that there is something available to help you. Your quality of life is being compromised, and that is worth a fight to find some relief. You need to get some more help ASAP. Keep posting here, and I hope someone will know about your condition. I am glad I found this post over again. Even after being here awhile I get lost. I want you to know I looked up you medical problem and I feel really bad that you have this tarlov cyst situation. It does indeed warrant your full attention. I read where a 10's unit can be of help, and I also read, where they can aspirate the cysts. Have you had the myelogram? Another approach was for a substance called Fibrin glue, which seals off the cysts, so they cannot fill up with fluid again. What have you doneso far? I will continue to research this and try to help. You are not alone. I care about you.please feel free to private message me anytime you need to talk. I know you must be frightened. Thank you for getting that lady to the proper forum. That tarlon cyst is something I had to look up and research. I still don't know how to direct to the correct forum and paste in the address where to go. I am actually a beginner in all sense of the word on the PC. I have a lot to learn. I sure want to welcome people, and will try to learn how to direct them. ginnie
