question

ok I have one doc telling me I have spinal lesions and another one telling me its nerve root sheath cysts. I am so confused how can the two be confused?

That is the question you need to ask both of your doctors!

Which two and what is their specialties? It's not unusual for 2 docs to come up with 2 diff DX.. If they are both to be believed then, I would get a 3rd opinion from an MS specialist Neuro.

Often the cysts are called Tavlov's cysts I think. Try Google.

the first thing i'd do is get clarification from the drs.
you might also think about getting a copy of the test results. that will tell you what the radiologist who was reading the test saw. sometimes it's helpful, sometimes not. worth a try to help YOU understand.

Depending on their Specialties different Doctors will see different things. Generally they will find what they are looking for. Ask both of them for clarification.
