Unfortunately yes... especially post op.
I began to lose control so approached my GP re my anxiety issues and then got a referral for CBT ( Cognitive Behavioural Therapy). This has lead to me gaining a place for a pain management course, which will hopefully include techniques for self-help like meditation.

Same here - diagnosed with anxiety attacks…the first sign was always a pain in my neck/shoulder/shoulder blade…that then got me worked up into having a full blown panic attack…pain down my left arm, dizzy, palputations…hospital, scans thyroid checks…you know the rest

so glad someone else gets this!

Got diagnosed by a Cairo friend with TOS yesterday… and now everything makes sense!

CBT and biofeedback therapy are effective for both pain/tension escalations and Panic attacks.
