Has anyone succesfully restored proper function of the scapula?

Just wondering if anyone on this forum or knows of anyone who has actually succesfully restored proper function of the scapula and seen great reduction of symtpoms.

Hi hellothere, I've just returned from my first physio appointment post op. The PT found that my Rhomboid muscles are very tender:eek: and causing me alot of issues radiating in the shoulders, traps and arms. I am being seen next week again to be given a stretching/strengthening program to follow so hopefully I will gain some useful knowledge to pass on to those with scapula issues?

Oh, just wanted to add some quick pointers he gave me to help stretch the scapula region.... neck stretches. Gentle but effective.
I looked some up online and found what he had mentioned for me to do, hope they help?

A site with shoulder issues in particular, rhomboid.

thanks but neck or scalene stretching has never provided me with any relief at all.

i mean u can stretch all you like but if you have trigger points in the pec minor or scalenes which most of us do, stretching wont do any good at all.

I started ART which I have had some relief. He said with all the knots and scar tissue, I could stretch all day without getting anywhere because of scar tissue.
