How long after you apply

Does it take for a decision? I just checked the status it says no decision has been made and DDS is still processing the medical portion. It is coming up on a month this week.

Just curious, new to all of this.

It depends on the backlog in your state and just recently "layoffs" in certain states. For an initial app, normally it can take from 30-90 days sometimes up to 6 months.

I believe mine was 4 or 5 months and I am in New York State. Good Luck!:)

Ahh, the first application........

My denial took a few months. Total til approval was 3 years
