Cellcept prescription ran out
 

Hi,
We waited too long and renewed Cait's cellcept prescription via mail order pharmacy last week, but it still has not arrived because of the MLK holiday. It ran out yesterday so she hasn't had any today. Is this really bad? Do we need to find samples from the doc if it doesn't arrive tomorrow? Can she skip a couple of days and be ok? She's been on it since 12/26. 1000 mg per day. I'm hoping someone else has had some experience with this since we won't be able to call the doc till tomorrow.

I'm on Cellcept. I'm guessing it will be ok to miss a day or two because Cellcept is a long term thing. I'm sure someone who knows more will be along soon.

I don't know, though my guess is like Mike's. But for next time: the mail-order pharmacy should have an automatic refill program you can sign up for.

Mine has Auto-refill, I use expressscripts.

Im on cellcept for about 8 months now I think (lol my memory sure shows it),and I skip doses all the time. Well, I had an ulcer flare so I skipped almost all my meds for almost a week, and when I have stomach troubles or I sleep the day away I tend to skip my late dose if not both. Never been a problem for me!
