additional post op pain

Has anyone experienced EXTRA pain between the middle of and deep within the back of the shoulderblades post first rib excision op?
I seem to be losing strength and aching/fatigued easily in this region, more so now than before my operation!:(

I haven't done the surgery, but I've had some of those symptoms lately from two sources:

-- Got sloppy about my posture again. Forward head position can pull on parts of your upper back.

-- I did a funny pec minor stretch, but all it did was mess with my shoulder blade.

I can't say what your symptoms are caused by, but maybe that's food for thought.

I got fixed up with PT+OMT today though, so feeling better. :D

Time for a relaxing nap...

Funny you should mention that about the pec minor and shoulderblade..... my are both playing up at the same time.
I actually have an appointment with the hospital physio on Friday so will mention as much as I can.................. I just hope they are patient with me, what with my ever increasing list of symptoms!!!!!:winky:
Best wishes

We are on same time table with our surgery, and I also have that problem as well. I also get burning pain in tricep ever once in awhile which never happened before the surgery. What a battle this had been. The cold weather and constant weather changes have had a big effect on me as well.
