New to the forum have some questions plz
 

I have seizures and migraines and 3 days ago I received an occipital nerve blocker in both the left and right sides of my neck.Yesterday I used tin foil and highlighted my hair and last night I noticed a pain on the left side of my head almost in line where my temple is but further in the head not on face and it feels bruised with a small lump.I didn't injury myself or hit my head just wondering what it could be,it does have a small red spot like it I had bumped it but I didn't please help

Welcome to Neuro Talk. You have found a really good site with lots of compassionate people. I know you haven't gotten a diaganosis yet of what is going on. You really should investigate a bit more, and seek a neurologist. Your symptoms and the current treatment you received didn't seems to work for you. I can't address why you would have a bump appear. If these things are getting worse or change, don't hesitate, go on it to the doctor. I hope there will be alot of good people who talk to you. I don't know exactly what forum would be in line with what you are experiencing, but there will be others to direct you too. Please be good to your self, while you search for the answers. This site has become a second home to me, and I have met such good friends. I hope you do too. ginnie

I don't have any answers as to why you have a red spot, bump, and feelings of a bruise. I'm wondering if maybe it's from the nerve block possibly irritating a nerve further forward in your head???

You've come to a great place for support and care. I know you must be pretty frightened about this new symptom, but try not to think the worst of it. Abbie had a good suggestion and others might have some ideas as well.
Feel free to post anywhere. There is a 'search' feature at the top of the screen in that bar that runs across. If you use that you can type in words of interest and it will bring up posts that have discussed this.

Welcome to the site.

Wanted to suggest if you are still feeling the knot and seeing the redness.
That you call the person who did the procedure. This is first a question as to whether this is part of that. I'm guessing it was a neurologist.

Secondly, with having seizures, as a parent of a 20 year old who has had them for over 14 years. Its possible to have hit your head or did something
in a seizure. You don't even realize you had.

my doctor just told me to stop taking lyrcia taking 25 m twice a day for 10
days. i was not able to walk, now i have terrible headachs

I am not sure why you were taking the lyrica. If the headache doesn't
get better, personally I would call the doctor.
