Default Doctors in Calif
hi I live in Oregon and have a great doctor I lived in tennessee and had a great doctor are you the gabby who told me of the Doc in Johnson city ? I worked as prescribing nurse for a pain Doctor in California some days he would have over 70 patients (I only worked one day a month for him but he pioneered letting people decide what they wanted
You see I shot myself and guns are worse than opiates but opiate misuse makes it hard on us all ,what works for one person doesnt for another .I shot myself in heart making my RSD worse if possible because of the just say no Reagan mentality and with no meds I went to a Hospital for drug addicts for the "Cure" (treated worse than Mierda)instead of my RSD being treated the Doctors would say I can't see you you are a Drug Addict (I was a RN 15 years and was never an addict by taking extras or selli ng meds I knew the importance of being perfect with my meds)
I couldnt bare the pain i had RSD since 1968 I saw no way out but my rifle although I think God is great to make our decisions other people should make their own decisions ask for help but not try to decide for me,
It is unbearable ,I have lost friends to RSD or lack of decent treatment whatever it was they needed.Meds had taken the edge off for me and I pray all get the help from this monstrous disease .
Hey I wrote a poem a few well you can look under rsdno I guess before judging me (probably not very good but I try

RSDno,
Although pain is a constant reminder of days gone bye it is important to remember that God is the ultimate provider. He and he alone can make or break our decision and our wills.
I read your poem, it was beautiful as a sunrise. I wish you peace and good health in all of your days and remember that you have all of us here at neuro-:hug:talk to be your friend in both good and bad.

God is love

Sorry to hear your desperation RSDno, I too am at the same stage. A fear that I cant stop as it's part of me causes rsd external and internal. Remember God is love and won't judge you harshly.I survive minute by minute but the combination of a brain malfunction and rsd doesn't give me long.I hope you will find comfort soon and get the strength to keep going.

gentle hello rsdno

You may always post here. This is a compassionate group of people. I have no idea really how to help you. I sure can hear your cry with what you did, and the pain of RSD. You need a physician who will treat you, no matter what you did in the past. I don't want you to go to round two, because you can't stand the RSD pain. Is there a Psych you could go to, that might have compassion and allow you the medicines to control your pain? There has to be an answer, and I hope you get some other posts to help direct you. I am here for you if you ever need to talk. I care about you, and I am sorry for your pain, your hurt, your sorrow over your condition. I hope you keep reaching out for help. You will be in my thoughts, and from now on always in my prayers ginnie

I too have not misused any drugs - the only time I get any are when my arm develops yet another major infection, then only enough for usually a week or two at most.

I also go through the wishing my pain and spasms would stop every day, I just so far am able to keep the thoughts to just wishing a lot I could just have my dang arm removed and enjoy pain free life again. See this arm has had su many injuries over the years, I literally have had to go many times months to year or more without using it... Is that bad thinking? I really don't know...

ginnie 02-08-2012 04:58 PM

Hi Kheldar

I am sorry your arm has given you such pain over the years. I don't really blame you for wanting to get rid of it. Don't do it though. We all feel like wanting to get rid of pain in what ever limb it happens to hit. I hope you are getting enough help to deal the pain. Do go to a pain specialist if it gets to be too much. It comes down to quality of life. That is where I draw the line. If my pain gets so bad, I do speak up. Even if it takes more than one doctor. I wish you all the best. ginnie
