How bad must the pain be before taking a painkiller?

Guess this is subjective.

The pain came back tonight- headache. Annoying because the pain has been in the roof of the mouth for quite a while now.

Screaming from a tantrum-throwing toddler I nanny, and his critical, anger-prone father not wanting me to irritate him (my boss, who I live with) may have done it.

Also got my left foot/ankle injured by him when he slammed into me Friday.
So that has been pain/stress.

I visit the family by taking public transit in the rain at night only to have to ride in a towtruck when the family van breaks down in the rain.

So I guess it may be a painkiller night (Acetom-whatever) due to the fact that may sleep may be miserable w/o because I'm not used to the old headache anymore.

Sorry if this is too much info (to a certain someone, and everyone else). Thanks.
