Vaccine injury and Peripheral Neuropathy:

This topic keeps coming up here on PN forum and at other boards here.

I am collecting some information to help readers with potential vaccine related issues, or damage.

Today just about every chain pharmacy is trying aggressively to get you to have vaccines at their locations, because it makes alot of money for them. Because of the heavy advertising, and common availability of these vaccines, people are assuming they are very safe, and that is just not true. They don't even need a doctor's prescription, hence they are advertised directly to YOU. So it is YOUR decision to understand what you are potentially getting with any vaccine.

This thread is going to provide another point of view. After considering all sides of the vaccine topic, then YOU will have to decide if you want to go ahead and have the vaccines you think you should have.

Vaccines are invasive. They inject foreign substances into your body, and potential contaminants, as well. No vaccine is 100% safe. The smallpox vaccine caused serious reactions and even death in some people.
http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/rr5204a1.htm

In the 1950's, the first polio vaccines were distributed and I received the 3 shot course myself. I developed hives from them.
We now know that those vaccines were contaminated with a monkey virus...which may explain my chronic lifelong arthritis.
http://www.nvic.org/vaccines-and-dis...imonySV40.aspx

In 1976 the first Swine flu vaccine was offered, and this resulted in GBS (Guillain-Barré syndrome) in some individuals.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1976_swine_flu_outbreak

And today there remains controversy that Merck's experimental Hep B vaccine in the 1970's initially introduced the AIDs virus.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vgBBw...eature=related
http://semmelweis.org/2009/10/19/mor...adly-vaccines/
This remains controversial, but as time passes, this topic continues to be publicized.

So today we have seen a pandemic that never was, H1N1, and many people vaccinated for that for nothing. Many of those vaccines contained Squalene...an adjuvant banned in US by the FDA. But as that autumn progressed US ran out of squalene free version and imported the Squalene type from Europe.

What does this mean? Here is Dr. Blaylock MD to explain squalene:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=--nWrqIspnQ
part 1
There are 3 other youtubes on this interview with Dr. Blaylock so click on them at the end of each part. Part 2 is especially detailed on this subject.

Squalene is not safe injected into the body. It is common in foods and olive oil, and when eaten, is distributed throughout the body in all cells. When injected it causes an inflammatory response, and is in the vaccines to enhance the immune reaction to the deactivated viruses. What happens though in some people, it can induce autoimmune response to the person's own cells and tissues, leading to autoimmune disease.

Desert storm soldiers were given Anthrax vaccine which had squalene in it. When tested, they all had antibodies to this adjuvant. Soldiers NOT deployed also developed Gulf War Syndrome, and it is thought today to be due to the squalene in the vaccine:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10640454

More on squalene adjuvants:
http://articles.mercola.com/sites/ar...t-exposed.aspx

Vaccines cause reactions in some people, and this may be predicted by certain antigen markers on their cells. Lyme vaccine is a case in point where only certain people developed severe autoimmune arthritis. These individuals could have been screened for and saved a lifetime of further misery:
this link explains that:
http://www.encognitive.com/node/1391

Gardasil vaccine and other HPV vaccines:

http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/releases/63586.php
including numbness/tingling etc

Many blogs discuss Gardasil now and they are alarming:
http://vaccineawakening.blogspot.com...continues.html

The season flu vaccine, is also problematic for some people:
http://www.drugcite.com/?q=flu+VACCINE&a=&s=

Flu vaccine is made on a substrate of eggs...so it can induce allergy responses to eggs or chicken in the future, in some patients. The viruses used in seasonal flu vaccines are chosen months ahead of the season and are best guesses as to which to include. Typically they don't hit the best guess and the flu vaccine is useless. And many times not even effective. Parke Davis and other companies have had to recall extensive lots over the years for ineffectiveness! Type into Google "flu vaccine recalled" and see all the ones over the years, including the Baxter contaminated H5N1 debacle from the H1N1 "epidemic".

Often today, the adjuvants are not listed on the ingredients for it either. Ask your doctor, what adjuvants are in it and you most likely will get a blank look or shrug. Ask your doctor about squalene, and you may also get the same response.
But then if you get your vaccine in a drugstore, you don't even have your doctor to ask!

Vaccines have historically caused neurological damage in people. Some of them end up here on NeuroTalk. It is next to impossible to get a physician today to fess up to a vaccine injury. They may connect GBS, because that is listed on some vaccine medical information inserts. Also human rabies vaccine has had a history of severe reactions. But it remains true that ALL vaccines have potential for damaging people. They may do it slowly, or vaguely, and elude detection.

So consider carefully any vaccine you intend to get. Find out what is in it exactly before injecting it into your body. The H1N1 hype was very educational as to revealing the potent effect of advertising and TV and other media on influencing people. Even Dr. Oz had a show on this, which was rather filled with alarm and inaccuracies! Google your vaccine followed by "reactions" , "side effects", to see how many people are having problems with it. Some vaccines, like the new shingles vaccine, only work in about 50% of people who elect to get it. Do you want that low coverage in return for injecting it into your body? Most people don't know that the coverage for shingles vaccine is low and short lived if actually done.

As I find more information, I'll be updating this thread. All comments are welcome here. Vaccines at one time helped wipe out devastating illnesses, often in children, and also smallpox.
Should another huge scourge come along we may all have to have an emergency vaccine to survive. But in the meantime, vaccines are not necessarily needed for all.

Thanks Mrs D for the good summary of vacines and potential problems. I have been looking about for a definitive answer fo the value of a Zoster shot/vacine, Then this new thread came on and I hope some people have some experience with this problem that they can share. I see the placards at the local large pharmacy within the larger supermarket/restaurant/buffet.....all of which are highly rated. So, I spoke with a freind who also has shingles, but no neuropathy. Therefore he is not in our neuropathy support/self help group. He had tried the shot since his shingles encirleded his midriff and was very painful....he swears that there was no noticable change in the occurance of his shingles! And further thinks that the shot might have increased the repetativity of his own particular case. We both had the chicken pox at about the same age 10-12 yrs of age. about 60 years ago for me and about 50 years ago for him. Mine occurs on the left cheek of my touche....a real pain in the:eek:$^:o:confused::o....when it reappears. So, I am asking you and any and all others who have had an experience with the shingles & nueropathy and the Zoster shots.
I value your opinion and exemplary research in these Neurotalk Threads.
Thank you,
R.:o

Vaccines typically do not contain every strain of the disease they cover. Shingles --from chickenpox-- there are more than one strain out there.
Quote:

Zostavax®, the vaccine to prevent herpes zoster (also referred to as shingles or zoster), consists of attenuated (Oka-strain) varicella virus at a concentration at least 14 times that found in Varivax®, the vaccine to prevent varicella (chickenpox).
from http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/vpd-vac/...accination.htm

The Gardasil vaccine also only has two strains of HPV out of many out there so coverage for it is spotty too. (strains 16 and 18 only).
This article claims there are over 100 strains of HPV out there:
http://www.rense.com/general75/100.htm
Quote:

These strains are: 16, 18, 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 56, 58, 59, and 68. Strains 16 and 18 are by far the most common types, and one or both are present in approximately 70% of cervical cancers worldwide. Despite this strong link, only a very small percentage of high risk HPV infections will ever become invasive cancer (estimated at 2%). The time between initial exposure and the development of cancer can vary from months to years, but the average time is thought to be 15 years.
Figures like these are typically used when governments try to mandate this vaccine for healthy young women (and now also suggested for young boys!). Texas tried to get mandatory vaccination with HPV vaccines, and this was blocked by concerned citizens finally. I think we will continue to see serious reactions for the HPV vaccines. The lobbies by Big Pharma can be very persuasive.

I believe that prescreening for potential vaccine injury is the way to go, and perhaps the medical establishment will move in this direction, in the future.

Oooopppssss..

Should(Does) a person who is injured by a vaccine, have recourse?

Nope!

http://www.ama-assn.org/amednews/201...7/gvsc0307.htm
Quote:

The U.S. Supreme Court has upheld liability protections for vaccine makers, ruling that they can't be sued in state court for design-defect damages.
This means if a contaminant or adjuvant in a vaccine injures a child or adult, there is no recourse in the courts.

The US compensation program is limited in funds, so any huge epidemic of damage, would consume them rapidly.

This is an explanation of the "recourse"open to vaccine injured people:
http://ppjg.wordpress.com/2011/01/09...vaccine-court/

Therefore, I think people should read as much as they can before getting a vaccine, to see 1) is it really necessary, 2) has it been tested on many people over time, 3) is there evidence of effectiveness, 4) what does the postmarketing injury record have to say.

Shingles aand PN: is there a Connection?

MrsD, Thanks for the additional info, but now that you have enterered into the legal arena, let me restate my question/case: Has anyone out there:grouphug: with PN and shingles gotten the zoster shot(s)? And: 1) did it help your shingles?, 2) did you find any relief from the shingles and or your PN? OR have you notticed ANY connection between the shingles cycle and the severe pain cycle of PN?

EXAMPLE: In my case the painful shingles appears on my left rear cheek and serves as a warning sign fo the onset of a severe bout with pain in my left foot, which is my worst PN foot, that lasts for a few days. It, the pain subsides after a few days, but alas, the shingles continue to give me a royal pain in the left touche for longer....more like a week. I apply zinc oxide to the pre shingles area when it begins to itch....pre blister time and keep applying the ZO cream until the shingles subside. That Zinc Oxide relieves my shingles pain. Has anyone, in similar mode, ie PN and shingles gotten the zoster shot? and 2) gotten relief for either the shingles and/or the PN?::( 3) Has the zoster vacine worsened either the shingles and/or the PN? MrsD, do you have any thoughts, observations, or advices?
Thanks everyone for your support.:grouphug:

Before considering the Shingles vaccine, I'd suggest you have
some antibody titres run. When I had my shingles, I only had one outbreak of rash. However this summer, I had pain down my right arm again (where the shingles were) and ONE only vesicle.
If you have high titres of Zoster antibodies, I don't see why a vaccine would be necessary.

I don't think it is common to have repeated rash outbreak with shingles. Pain, yes, but rash, is not common. It is possible but not common. Did you have the vesicles tested? To see if they are really shingles and not some other Herpes virus? Simplex is common with rash recurring. Tingling precedes that eruption.
There can be pain too with Simplex.

People with impaired immune systems can have repeated Zoster attacks however.

We have a shingles forum:

This is the link to the whole forum,

If you use the search function on the first page there, the shingles posts will come up. There aren't very many. This topic has not had many visitors, sorry.

Shots can make you sick

Hi D, Its so nice to see someone educating themselves and sharing with others on the subject. I think the Vaccines, food, water and medications are making us all sick. The idea behind the injections is to shoot some parts of the actual illness into our bodies to make the immune system get strong against it and fight off the illness-disease incase we come in contact with it. When your young your Immune system is stronger. The material injected stays in your body the rest of your life and viruses have no cures. So, what happens when your older and your Immune system is old too ? I think your immune system no longer has the strength to fight off the illnesses presented in the shot and it can activate and begin to kill your body off over time. So it makes a lot of sense to REALLY THINK before you put these Vaccines into your body to begin with. I chose to never Vaccinate my youngest daughter after reading about them. She is in her 20's, maybe had a cold twice in her life. Other's that had them were sick more often. As a parent it was a tuff decision thinking what if she gets one of these diseases ? Its going to be all my fault. But on the other hand if we all find out later as a Society the Vaccines caused illness, disease and we see that happen to one of our children were going to be upset we had them get Vaccinated. There are so many Autoimmune diseases and so many names-labels given to them to cloud where they came from and what they really are. Such as these Autoimmune Diseases, Lupus, Fibromyalgia, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease,One form of Diabetes, Alzheimer's Such as Alzheimer's attacks the brain organ. The list goes on and on. If anyone is interested do a search under " List Of Auto Immune Diseases ". And each one of these types of Diseases attacks a part of our own bodies to kill it off as if it's bacteria or virus and must be killed. So, eventually that organ will fail unless the virus is out under control to stop attacking the organ. Or that there are so many strands of the Herpes virus but we mainly hear about 1and 2. Herpes strand 6 and 9 are present in most people with Fibro or CFIDS. Okay enough rambling. Hee hee. So glad you wrote about this Mrs.D...huggies to you

Vaccine Injury caused Parsonage Turner and I think Neuropathy

Hello,

I had a flu shot, for the first time, last November. I first got severe Sciatic pain in my left leg, and shortly went away. A week after that, I started getting severe pain in my right arm. I went to the ER and specialist. They diagnosed me with Parsonage-Turner Syndrome. I still had some stinging pain in my leg during that time.

Months have gone by, and around May, I started getting severe electricity down both legs and feet. My neurologist conducted an EMG on 7-31-13. Diagnosis is still unknown. I have some abnormalities in my left foot. He is now referring me to a Neuropathy/ALS specialist.

Do I have Neuropathy?

Can you get neuropathy from a vaccination injury?

If so, what is my prognosis?

Any advise out there?

Thank you,

Dave

Vaccination Injury Comp plan

Hello,

There is a govt. program that compensates people who have been injured by a vaccine. I also hired a lawyer, Rawls McNelis + Mitchell, that specializes in this.

There is a website from the govt. regarding this comp plan.

Is all this valid?

Thanks

Flu vaccine and ALS?

Here is a post made today that is alarming:

http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/post1024830-8.html

This poster believes a flu shot set off her husband's ALS.

So I searched this topic...and found that there are others who
think the flu shot triggered ALS, like this one:
http://www.whale.to/vaccine/can1.html

And this one:
http://birdflu666.wordpress.com/2012...ase-in-sweden/

en bloc 10-26-2013 03:37 PM

I have no doubts that vaccines (even just the flu shot) can trigger awful conditions. Guillian barre is one that can be associated with flu shot I believe as well.

However, that said, I think there are either genetic predisposition or underlining process and that the vaccines set off. I don't know for sure, so just my opinion...BUT I do know that autoimmune diseases fall into this category and are typically set into motion (not created) by infections, illness, trauma, etc...ANYTHING that affects the immune system. So it stands to reason that vaccines (which directly and purposely alter the immune system) would do the same and set into motion a condition that was likely dormant, but already present.

Again, just my opinion.

lbxm 12-17-2013 08:13 PM

Thank you for the great information!

I am more convinced now that my PN was triggered by a flu shot which I received 1 month before my symptoms started.

Lessons learned. No more vaccine for me, never again.

Here is a link to a new article on the H1N1 vaccine and the narcolepsy, that resulted in Europe from it mostly in children:

http://news.yahoo.com/scientists-sta...--finance.html

It discusses molecular mimicry...which is the formation of antibodies to a virus sequence of peptides, that is similar to parts of the brain and human body. Molecular mimicry is discussed here sometimes by glenntaj, in relation to sensory neuropathies.

GSK...a huge international company, cited for contaminated flu vaccines by FDA:

http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/thread206026.html

Yahoo news does not keep active links, so I am going to put a brief quote up...
Quote:

In a warning letter dated June 12 to GSK's flu vaccine manufacturing facility in Ste-Foy, Quebec, the FDA said the company failed to take appropriate steps to prevent microbiological contamination of products, among other violations.... In 2011, 24 vaccine lots were rejected due to the excessive presence of endotoxins. These are found in the cell walls of Gram-negative pathogens such as salmonella. When bacteria die the endotoxins are released, possibly contaminating laboratory equipment and causing health problems in people and animals.

Other lots were rejected in March and July 2012, and certain test lots were contaminated last year. These were manufactured on the same equipment as commercial lots for release to the United States, the FDA said in its warning letter.
more details at the Yahoo link.

This link is to the FDA warning letter...and should remain active. It is quite detailed and technical:

What is SV-40?

This recent situation with Glaxo vaccines, reminds me of this topic.

I tend to not dwell on this subject because it upsets me quite a bit. I think my long term health problems with PN and arthritis are linked to this simian virus.

I was in the first pool of children receiving the Salk 3 injection vaccine, that was released in Michigan. I recall getting ill from the 3rd injection, with a fever and hives.

So last night I revisited the topic and found some links that others here might find shocking but useful....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SV40

http://www.rense.com/general3/polio.htm

This is a link to Barbara L. Fisher's statement to congress:
http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/CHRG-10...8hhrg91047.htm

The SV-40 virus has spread from the initial vaccine pool of polio injectable and oral vaccines into our current population, even though monkey kidney is no longer used. I find this very disturbing.

This issue of contamination of vaccines is not new, and the current Glaxo problems with contamination, illustrate that vaccines continue to provide foreign and infectious potential into the recipients.

How is your compensation going. I have also hired an attorney. I have severe small fiber neuropathy which has changed my life. I was a perfectly healthy individual until 10 days after fetting the high dose flu vaccine on 2012.

Vaccines/neuropathic disorders

Very interesting thread. I was one of the recipients of the new Swine Flu vaccine at Ft. Dix, NJ in 1976, as well as the typical yearly cocktail of shots they insist you have every year. A couple of years later, when my oldest son was about 2 months old, I contracted dengue fever while visiting family in Puerto Rico. Then, when the baby was about 7 months old, he and I both were required to have the yellow fever vaccine before permanent reassignment to Germany. Boy, now I'm glad I got out of the service before I had to take the anthrax vaccine! Unfortunately my sons were not that fortunate, they both had to take it. The youngest is now plagued with vague joint pains and that intestinal disease, I think it's called Crohn's, that causes scar tissue to develop, chronic loose BMs, etc. Every day goes by, I'm more convinced that our government see the military as their personal medical experimental subject pool! Thanks for the links and all the info, everybody. Lot's of reading to do now! Everyone stay safe out there!

Very interesting thread--it jogged my memory too. My husband has had shingles twice and both times received the zosta shot. He also received many shots while in the Air Force for 30 years and before going to Viet Nam. He now has myasthenia gravis. The neurologist decided it must have come from exposure to agent orange in Vietnam and also Thailand, because all the other tests came back negative. But his bouts with shingles were more recent than his agent orange exposusre.

65 and over flu vaccine

I have posted before. I had the vaccine in September 2012. I was a perfectly healthy petite women weighing 96lbs age 75 normal blood pressure etc. I had had regular flu shots in prior years with no reaction. The high dose flu vaccine did me in. 20 days after the injection my body felt like it was on fire. I have seen many medical specialists including a thorough work up at the Mayo Clinic. I have paresthesia all over. No medications used off label have helped. I have had alternative treatments including laser therapy, acupuncture, neurpopathy pain formula, CBD hemp oil, marijuana. Nothing gives relief. The only thing I am thankful for is that I do go to sleep at night after taking a sleeping pill. My whole life has changed. My husband and I have moved from a beautiful home to an independent living facility as I no longer feel like shopping and making meals. Think twice before taking high dose vaccines. If I did get the flu I would have survived and gotten better. What I have is for life and actually it's not something to want to live with.
