Dull, persistent, pulsating headache in one spot.
I tried to search through the threads here on the forum for something similar to what I'm experiencing, but wasn't able to find anything...so here we go.
It's probably nothing, but something weird started happening today...I'm getting this dull, persistent, slow pulsating headache in ONE SPOT on my head. It's right around the "left frontal lobe", where I was injured. It's weird because it's nothing I've experienced before. Its not like a regular headache, it doesn't really hurt...it feels more like pressure pulsating over and over in the same spot. It's been going on for about an hour now. I'm concerned because, like I said, it's in the area my brain was injured. And it's not like a regular headache, it feels like something is poking my brain softly over and over in the same exact spot, at the same speed. What's going on in there? Tumor? Blood clot?...or could it be something good...healing? Lol...I feel a panic attack coming on.:eek::eek: |
this sound alot llike my headache - the neurologist asked if it pulses - I said no but when it goes above a 6 on the pain scale it does have a slight pulse but to me it feels more like a deep pressure with the walls of the skull centered in the forehead region. like someone it put there thumb down hard on that spot.

I have had a similar headache since I fell. Left side, over my left eye right between my eyebrow and hairline. It really is never gone, but sometimes instead of pulsing I would describe it as a pounding or throbbing headache. That is where I landed when I fell.
Mine wasn't sudden-onset appearing several months after injury though, so you might want to get it checked out. I also have a lot of problems with language - speech (slurred, stuttering, and word recall), reading, writing. Short term memory. Sequencing, sense of direction, sense of time, focus, multi-tasking. |
