MRI question

I am scheduled for an MRI tomorrow afternoon, I have a question;Do they use any form of restraint during the head/neck MRI.

When I had an MRI, they had more of a rest for my head and neck, I think, and not really a restraint. Maybe they also used some tape to tape my forehead comfortably to the rest so it was easier for me to keep still.

They do not use restraints during the MRI. However, they might put something over you to remind you not to move...like a towel or something.

Good luck.

Edit: I do not do well with restraints. I would have remembered being uncomfortable during the process if there was any :).

I will not to well if they put a towel over my head. That will freak me out. If they do need to do that, do you know if there is some other way.

I'm sure you can just ask them not to and ensure them you won't move. I'm almost certain its not required.

The people I saw seemed very accommodating to any human fears about any details that were involved in the procedure.

Basically, I'm sure they've had other people with similar or the same fears that you might have while you're there and they know how to address them and alter their procedures in order to make you feel comfortable to go through with it. Their job is to get the image and they can't get that image unless you are comfortable.
