Car Possiblly Stolen!
 

Please pray for me and my husband. He called about midnight from work as he works the 4 to midnight shift to say our car was gone. They have called the police. There is a small possibility that it was impounded for some reason (parked wrong or something) but more likely it was stolen.

HELP!

I don't usually pray for these kinds of things...more often it's for the return of good health, or courage to deal with pain or the struggle to live "without" but if it will help, sure JudyM....I'll pray. "Please" always rings my bell. :hug:

I do hope that it was rather just towed away than stolen, but if stolen that it will be quickly recovered without any damage

Well, yes it is our only car and it was stolen. The insurance does not cover it!

It was an older model. Soooooo, in this case in involves good health, transportation to employment....etc. courage, etc. All of those things needed.

Update: It WAS stolen. My husband parked it in front of his work place yesterday, legally, but he usually parks it inside the gate. He was running a little late. It was locked. The good thing is he had recently cleaned it out so there was nothing valuable in the car, and it had very little gas....ha ha ha.

I just talked to the police and they said if they found it we had 30 minutes to respond.

It is going to be OK, but it has us a little rattled.:p

Thank you all for praying. It has been about 24 hours since the car could have been taken since my husband did not discover it gone until the end of his shift last night.

This is the way the Lord has provided:

1.My husband's nephew who lives with his grandfather right now just bought a new car and still has the other one. He is going to loan us the other one indefinitely until we either get our car back or get a new one.

2.My mother is going to give us a small amount of money - enough to get a used car. That is all we need.

I will let you know if anything else develops.

Both of the above circumstances came about without us having to ask.

God does provide for our needs.

The car was found. I got a call from the police. It had been abandoned in front of an apartment complex. The only problem is that they towed it and impounded it by the time I found someone to help me go retrieve it somewhere on the West Side of Town. We will get it back tomorrow, once we pay to get it out! (Much Bucks!) Does that seem fair? Not really, but at least we are getting the car back. That is a step in the right direction.
