I wish I could stop my grand kids from getting older
 

My little girl, she's a big 10 year old now. She has been showing some signs of puberty so her Mom and her decided to take a Walmart trip and look at feminine hygiene protection products. She was so excited :confused: she had to waer one to church tonight. My daughter could see her and her best friends talking together. You just know they were talking about how it felt and everything. It came with a little booklet and the girls were reading it.

then the 5 year old is going around and feels she needs to try to figure out the letter each word anyone says starts with. I would just like to stop the clock on them

My "baby" is 27 now. Sometimes I think about her being a toddler and I miss that little girl so much. I'm hoping for grand kids some day and I will NOT be in such a hurry for them to grow up.

It seems like just yesterday I was giving my only grandchild a bath in my kitchen sink! Now she's 22. *sigh*

I am torn on either wanting them to go back to being sweet lovable little Toddlers or growing past the devil/brat/rebel/spoiled stages, they are in now.:eek::D

They usually visit me on Sunday. DD texted me to say she was only bringing the nice ones today.....I was suprized to see the 13 yr old and the 5 yr old..:D The 11 yr old and the 6 yr old are right in the middle of bratdom.:p

So, I only received 3 hugs today..:hug::hug::hug: :)

Mom says that she loves what her children have become but sometimes she misses her babies.

I guess it's like cats? I love them but I miss the kittens and I really miss the relationship I had when Gandhi was an only pet. We will never have that again as he is the oldest.
