Wow

I just realized it's only been seven months since my accident. This whole time I thought it was eight. My time flies when your having fun. Lol. It feels like forever since I felt good. I went to my doc and he thinks my anxiety is making me worse. I disagree I think being in physicsl pain is doing it. I asked him if I should take something then and he said no. am I missing something here?my therapist thinks my anxiety wouldnt get in the way of working and my anxiety is caused by my physical symptoms. Now I know I have a head injury but im very confused by this.

My anxiety and depreession were getting the best of me and I couldn't function anymore. I was off all meds for two months and had a huge set back cognatively, emotionally and mentally. Since going back on the zoloft my anxiety has leveled off and I can somewhat function again.

ummmm. Time for a new therapist? If you are in physical pain that is debilitating, that pain needs addressed. If you struggle with anxiety (which many do facing ANY kind of major health, emotional or other challenge) - there is NO shame in getting help dealing with the anxiety.

I believe with all the struggles going on with PCS peeps, take the meds you need to help you to function the best you can NOW. As time goes by and healing and coping improves, the meds can be decreased or deleted.

I go to the anxiety clinic which is the best around. The doc who said no is part of the head injury clinic. I have therapy monday so ill ask him. Im nor opposed to taking something, anything that will help me.
