Week One
 

Howdy all! Sorry my life has still been a bit crazy and makes it hard for me to visit. You guys have always been the best, and I am determined to be here more often. :)

So, much later than expected -- Gilenya was started on the 13th. Been a so far, so good thing. Still wasn't fun to have my PB drop during the first dose, but glad we were at the observation center. Pulse remained steady after it only slightly slowed after that first hour, so knock on wood that the EKG afterwards was working right, heart looks ok.

The only complaint I have is what they warned me about which was the shortness of breath thing, especially after I move around for awhile. Good grief, I haven't felt this since I grew out of my childhood asthma :eek: Of course the irony is that my energy level has been slowly increasing, love the catch 22s that sometimes happen, LOL!

That is all to report from the fun first week. Trying to keep a vigilant eye on how I feel because it is so new.

Hi Fin! We've missed you. I'm glad the Gilenya seems to be working for you. Scary side effects, though! I hope they don't keep happening for you. I hope you can continue to visit here. We've lost alot of the original crew we used to have. :hug:
