Bad Flare
 

I have been having an awful flare in my leg, feet and back for the last two days. The muscles inside of my leg feel like they have a major sunburn. When the muscles aren't burning, they throb and ache. The burning even gives me goosebumps sometimes and when my pants or sheets rub me, I want to scream. I started Savella 5 days ago and I'm not noticing anything..but I know it takes time with the atrition dosing. I take 300mg extended release Tramadol and it's useless. I see my doctor on Tuesday. Is there anything I can do to help in the meantime?

I'm with you on the flare...symptoms a little different. I'm so sorry you're having so much pain. Hopefully your doc will be able to help. Sometimes when I take a hot shower it does help...I just don't always have the strength...please let me know how your appointment goes!!

Please talk about what you might do differently.

For one thing you might try heating pads. I use them sometimes
when the flares are really bad. I also get massages on my whole
body.
