Weakness on left side
 

Ok So far they have done CTs, MRIs, checked for stroke, due to having had high blood pressure for about 40 years and yes it is controlled, nerve test, all kinds of blood test. Still no answers! The lfet hand ic curling in and cannot straighten it out flat. This has been going on for about 4 years now. Any Ideas?

Welcome to Neuro Talk. I am sorry you are experiencing weakness and that your left hand is not straightening out. You sure have gone though alot of tests. I hope others that have more experience with these issues will post and give you a direction. I am not sure which forum would be the best for this problem. I have been here just under two years, and I have alot to learn about peoples conditons. There will be others to help direct you to a site that may be able to help you. for the welcome. I have read some of the others talking about the same type of thing so there is still hope. Luckly this is all being treated by the VA and they are raising the disability level. It gets very frustrating not being able to do what you have done all your life, simple things like typing are a chore at times.
They have been doing PT and say i have lost 40% of the strrenght. So one day at a time for now.

I am having a similiar symptom and they don't know what it is. I'm trying to eat chemical free and detox as much as possible.

Well not the greatest news but after an episode which made left side of face droop they have determined I have had a couple og TIAs or mini strokes. Scarey as it seems it kinda makes sense as I have had high blood pressure for 38 years.
