Was feeling good for couple of weeks before hip surgery
Had another arthroscopic hip surgery, this time my left hip on 2/17/12. Before surgery i was feeling pretty good with litttle or no signs of pcs for about 3 weeks. No dizziness, light headness, very minor headaches, and no pain behind the eyes and could actually look up hard with no pain behind the eyes. But know im on crutches and all symtpoms are just like before. I thought i might have turned a corner. I have been dealing with pcs for 3 years know. Im not working so i dony know if i pushed myself in those 3 weeks if any symtpoms would have come back. Only thing i did different prior to those 3 weeks was take ritalin.

What could have caused this to happen where for 3 weeks was good and then back to pcs life?

When you combine a change in medication with the chemical insult of anesthesia, you have had quite a change. Just the anesthesia has left me struggling for months after.
Again, wait and see. |

just not right,
I'm sorry to hear that your having a set-back. I'm actually right smack dab in the middle of a set-back myself. It's no fun when you've had a good week or two and think you've made good progress in your recovery and then get slapped in the face with last months symptoms. So believe me...I know how you feel. Don't be discouraged, it happens to the best of us. I pray that you continue to heal and have more good days/weeks to come. Good luck. Nick |
