L-Carnosine & Creatine Monohydrate
After seeing the list of ingredients in MaxiEnergy (see link below), I thought I would add L-Carnosine and Creatine Monohydrate to my supplements for mitochondrial support. The labels on my L-Carnosine and Creatine Monohydrate advise to take them on an empty stomach with juice or water. Do you suppose it's okay to add them to my D-Ribose?
By the way, if anybody thinks it's a bad idea to take these at all, do let me know. I have taken creatine when I was younger, before my PN. Thanks. http://www.oramune.com/ProductInfo.a...tid=MAXIENERGY |
Depending on how much creatine you take, one should have
good kidney functions. If you have any kidney issues, you should consult a doctor first. Make sure you stay hydrated. http://www.webmd.com/vitamins-supple...tName=CREATINE http://www.raysahelian.com/carnosine.html You should be able to take both with Ribose. BTW, except for the creatine and Vit C, the MaxiEnergy product has very small doses of the other ingredients. |

I'm going to start with modest doses. For example, the Jarrow L-Carnosine that I picked that I yesterday is a 500 mg pill, but I will take it every other day. The Creatine Monohydrate recommends 6 g per day on the label, but I will halve that. And I am cutting the d-ribose down to below 5 g per day. BTW, I do drink a lot of water and, I guess because I take 300+ mg of magnesium every day, I urinate quite regularly. My BMs are regular, too,as long as I stay on the mag. :) |
