G'day Every One.

G'day every one. :)

I am new to Neuro Talk. And just coming in to say my Hello's :pepsi:
/me puts down some pie for every one.
I came to Neuro Talk for help and info.
I have Autism, Muscular Dystrophy, and Seizures
I am Mute (Can not talk.)

I am new to being Mute. I lost my voice due to a very bad Seizure and my voice never did come back. My Dr say's some how it damaged my Broca's area of my brain. But My brain and that part of the brain was very Abnormal to start with he says. And that the Seizure just did it in.
I have had Seizures for a long time now. And there due to the Autism.
I was Diagnosed with Autism in 1988 and the age of 14 1/2. under the DSM-III-R criteria. (They say that I got a 14 out of 16 on that test. And I just had to have 8.)
I was Diagnosed with Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy (LGMD) At the same time. I have been it a power wheelchair from Nov 1999 at the age of 26.

Hi Andy lee

I am glad you found Neuro Talk. Sorry for all the problems you have had to cope with. You are very young to have to go through these critical issues. Even if you can't talk, you are able to express yourself very well. Please feel free to join in any conversation. This is a very laid bad forum, that happens to have alot of good folks in it. I found support here for my cervial issues two years ago, and never left. The search bar at the top of the page, just type in epilepsy, and that will bring you to that forum. Of course visit any of the ones you want to. There is a spiritual forum also that offers support. Again, welcome to this site, I hope you make some new friends here. ginnie
