Does Profiderall really work?

There is a supplement called Profiderall that says it can help give you mental focus and energy like Adderall. I was wondering if other people have tried this supplement and what your results were/are. I'm concerned that since it's chock full of alkaloids that it simply might make me jittery like coffee. Also after taking other over priced products like Focus Factor with no results I am skeptical to throw away more money.

Well, it does contain caffeine, and it doesn't state how much:

If that's a concern, I'd avoid it.

We just went through a similar thread on the PN forum about energy shots, which make similar claims about focus. Profiderall contains many/most of the same ingredients as energy shots.

My experience with those has been that they work the first few times, but the more often you do them, the less effective they seem to be. (In the case of the energy shot in question, this could also have been due to several changes in formulation.) I think that may be the case with many of these kinds of supplements; at first, your body isn't used to a blast of things like niacin, B12, taurine, but like caffeine, you build up a tolerance, or raise levels of deficient vitamins, and it either becomes less effective, or you need more for the same effect, or both.

Personally, I think you'd be throwing your money away, but that depends on a couple of questions:

Why are/would you be taking it; what are you trying to accomplish/get out of it? (What's the underlying problem?)

If you could define that, folks here might be able to steer you toward individual supplements that may address your issues more specifically (like a smart-bomb). Taking individual component supplements is usually less expensive, and leaves out unnecessary ingredients you don't want/need.
