H. pylori may affect the levels of two stomach hormones that help regulate blood glucose, New York University School of Medicine researchers Yu Chen and Dr. Martin Blaser said in a journal news release. They suggested that using antibiotics to eliminate H. pylori in some older obese patients could prove beneficial.

My daughter's father had stomach ulcers and back in those days it was treated very differently. Now of course, it's known that the H pylori caused the stomach ulcers.

So putting 2 and 2 together, I wonder how this impacts on the rapidly increasing epidemic of Diabetes etc.. I mean to say, 30% of the world's population have this. Unreal.
