Payback
Everybody's wondering if we're going to somehow PAY for all this gorgeous weather!
|
The way I'm sweating in this early heat ... I hope I have to pay with a couple pounds!
|
But I'm not having gorgeous weather. Will I still have to pay it back? :p
|
LOL Not lovely here either, lonely1.
Relative humidity is 95% currently. barbo, it's all out of our control. wren, I figured I lost a few pounds/kilos yesterday when there was a lull in the weather and I went outside and starting clipping my hedges. UGH. One of those jobs you start and then you spend hours cleaning up the mess. Make the most of the gorgeous weather where ever it may be. :sunchair: Don't forget... Slip Slop Slap. Slip on a t-shirt, slop on the sunscreen and slap on a hat. ;) |

My kids saw mosquitoes last night.
I honestly can't remember any March in my life with this weather. None, nada. I just hope this doesn't mean that we are in for a really rough, hotter-than-normal, summer. Can't stand the extremes. I live in the wrong state, lol. |
Hunning birds aren't due here until about April 19. The earliest I've ever seen one is March 29. But this is such an early spring I wonder if they will be early.
Yesterday I put out two feeders! :o |
That reminds me...I threw out our hummingbird feeder last year because the hummers were in the flowers but wouldn't use the feeder. Need to replace that! Sour Dough bread rising as I post this (((moi)))...gentle rain ((((Lara))) here but Mr.Alffe cooked out burgers on the grill for the first time this year.
And my trashman should have wren as his customer!! Yum!! |
hi alffe
becareful of those sceeters OK.? There are a few new species that have come up into the USA from Mexico. They carry more disease. We have been warned about that in Fla. Use one of those coils around you outside. I have pinch pots in which I burn those things while I am in the garden. They keep the pests away without application of a poisen to your body. Hope this helps. ginnie
