can these meds in pump cause itching?

i've had my baclofen pump for 9 months.
just got uped 20% and have severe itching each time i use my PTM device
meds:
baclofen
bupivican
clonidine.
i also had them increase the ptm device by 5%.
i'm thinking that is what is causing it.

Hello!

It's great to see a pumper here!
I wish I knew more re: the itching, other than to suggest Benadryl if your Dr ok's it. Maybe your body will adjust shortly and the itching will cease.

I recall others discussing this issue and I know there are more ideas from our friends here. They'll be along shortly.

I've been wanting to know more about pain pumps. It seems it's been far and few between when we get pain pump recipients here. What is the PTM device? Are you happy with your pump? How often do you have to refill the reservoir? Oh my, I could bombard you with Q's but I don't want to scare you off! :D

I know you had an SCS prior and you had it removed. I'm sorry that didn't work out for you.

Glad you're here!

Well

The only pump I use is for gasoline into my little car..... so the help I offer is prayer and lots to go around.

I do remember as our shildren have matured, there were times when prescribed med would cause itching of our children, an indication of allergy to the medicine prescribed. You could ask in your case if this is a possibility.

Prayin,

Although I do not have a pump. I have spent the week with itchy rashes due to the extremely high pollen count. Everything is just out of wack here in Ohio
