Record Pollen Count

8,164

That's the pollen count in Atlanta today. It's a new record high.

I've never had allergy symptoms like I do today. It actually looks like I'm crying. Eyes watering, nose running, tickley throat, coughing, sneezing.

There are warnings to stay inside especially if you have asthma or other respiratory problems.

I recall your other thread.... you can take 1/2 of a OTC Zyrtec,
and this often helps without the side effects.

We had terrible burning eyes, including the cats, two weeks ago.

I've been taking a Benadryl about an hour before I go to bed. Since it makes me drowsy it helps me get to sleep quicker. And dries up my sinuses for a little while at least. What we need is a day of a good steady rain.

I am on zyrtec and its not cutting thru it. I feel like stuff is wrapped around my vocal cords.

I have been using a neti pot each night, and that has been helping, but HOLY COW! Enough!

I broke down and took a Zyrtec before I went to bed last night. It'll make me drowsy today but it sure did help me sleep last night!

New Reord

New record!! 9,369 today.

A reading of 1,500 is considered extremely high and symptomatic for those allergic. I wonder what 9,369 is considered?

Previous record for GA was 6013.

I stocked up on Zyrtec and other remedies today. its gonna be a looong spring!:cool:
