LDN Report/Article
|
Yeah doctors are very skeptical about prescribing. Considering it has few side effects and is reasonably priced, I would think they would want to help their patients. LDN is not a big ticket drug like the other MS drugs. How much are the average MS drugs anyway?? $3,000-$4,000 a month as compared to about $35 a month. I used to date a pharma rep. and the stuff doctors got for pushing their drugs is insane. If more doctors were willing to prescribe LDN I think the price of MS drugs would be reduced greatly. I refuse to pay all that money for a drug that may or may not reduce relapses. I need a drug that is going to get me through the day.

I just had my phone appt with Dr. S today and I'm about to restart the LDN. To be honest, I haven't noticed that much of a difference without it but I just have that nagging feeling that I ought to be taking it regardless. It's health benefits go far beyond just helping with the MS sx.

Good for you Kell...it can't hurt.. Is Dr. S still doing phone appts all the time or only on certain dates? Someone told me that he was restricting his LDN appts to the first week in every month?? Thanks. |

Thanks, I wonder how long he'll keep doing it and if he will write the script for a longer time? |
