Mild loss of motor control...any ideas?
Hi there,
I've noticed something odd occurring for the last couple of weeks. I'll be holding a glass and all of a sudden I'll be aware that I'm letting go of it. I have to specifically think, "Hold the glass," to hold the glass. It's not a weakness of my hand, it's just like if I'm not paying attention to it, it will just let go. I hope you get my meaning from this. Anyone ever experience this or have any idea if this is a symptom of something specific? Things I've been diagnosed with in the past and still currently suffer from are reactive arthritis and depression. I am not having any arthritic episodes in my hands and it really isn't that since it's not a matter of pain or weakness. Imagine that you have to think to your body to breath, that you don't do it automatically, it's kind of like that. I have to think to my hand to hold the glass otherwise I feel like I would eventually drop it. Unfortunately I don't have insurance and cannot see a doctor at the moment. I'd just like to get a feel for whether it's something to worry about much or not. Thanks in advance for any help! |
That does sound weird, Brrrn. I hope you can see a doctor soon and learn what might be happening.
