How is the weekend? Do you have Easter plans?

Hi,

I hope that people are having good weekends. :)
I appreciated having Friday off.

stuff, stuff and more stuff

Hi. I appreciated Friday off too. :o I am exhausted.

Here, Good Friday used to be a public holiday. It has been "suppressed" (along with others) but the schools still closed Thursday as did the small institute for which I am teaching. Easter Monday is a public holiday, so this is technically 6 day weekend. It doesn't feel like one.

Thursday I caught up a little on sleep and saw pdoc. I was still migrainey and yesterday too.

Yesterday I did bunches of work in the house (cleaning, clearing, laundry, changed bedding), supplementary exercises for my student in a needed area (sent by email), took a shower, hair, and went to the doctor to get lab & med scritps, picked up meds, washed up after dinner.

I have 3.5 days left (includes today) to prep all course material I've decided might be needed, and do more housecleaning because we are having measurements done and we may not receive prior notice. (lovely, eh? :() It would be nice to have that done for Easter anyway. Besides that I am fielding requests for cooking etc.

No real plans for Easter other than try to have things clean/clear/pretty. We used to have roast lamb but we don't do that any more. I will try to find cards for my parents.

I would have liked two days off... or at least ONE, but it seems unlikely. I feel overwhelmed. :o

It's heading on to Sunday here. Well, it's only 8.50pm Sat. night, but that's heading to Sunday for me.

I live in a quite peaceful seaside area until holidays so once there are holidays the population increases by about 200%. :)

I used to have this amazing cake at Easter time when I was growing up and it was made by a woman that we knew who was I guess a refugee from Latvia. It was a Latvian simnel cake. It was the greatest cake I ever tasted in my entire life. I didn't have the ingredients today so instead I made a Grated Chocolate Cake. :o Just fluff really.

I hope you workers get some rest.

I hope for a peaceful and happy weekend for all.

Love you all.

dear lara, fluff is good!
It is probably easter for you. Hoping you enjoy some peace and quiet. Do you like to walk around and look for shells or is it more of a boat fishing area watch the fisher man come in with their catches. sister is vacationing right now at such a place large pelicans wait/loom as the fisherman throw scraps to the birdies, sounds like fun!

Today was a very nice day for me. My hubby and I had a nice
day out. My birthday was Thursday, so we spent the day together
enjoying the day. We went to lunch. And someother things together.

He also washed my van really nice. And we went to goodwill for
50% off day. And bought some nice things.

It was a really nice day together. We haven't done that in a long
time.

No problem everyone. I wasn't very clear about it.

I had a problem with my eye on Thursday so I wasn't in a good celebrating
mood. And Friday migraine set in.

Not sure why it happened. But I had my eyes dilated on Wednesday.

And it was a different type of dilation than usual. Even though I loved
the doctor a lot more than the one that I saw the first time.

I have to try and figure out why I had that type reaction.

I am trying to remember if this happened also last time.

They dont undilate your eyes anymore. Or at least they didn't mine.

Which they went back to normal by late evening. But I'm kind of lost.

As to what happened. My migraine meds didn't work and they
always have before.
