arm warmers/compression sleeve?
somewhere i read about a arm sleeve to keep arm warm. i bought a under armor brand compression sleeve that keeps arm warm, but the top is way too tight, we cut the elastic but it didnt help much, it worked in keeping arm warm and swelling down but the elastic part dug in and hurt like crazy, they are one size fits all. wondering if anyone knows what else may work. thanks in advance! Well...what helps me to keep my arms warm (and my back, chest, etc so I'm not sure if it will work for you) is a Columbia Omni-Heat shirt. It uses your own body heat to keep you warm by reflecting the heat back at you. I bought the shirt a size up from what I normally wear so it is not too tight. I don't know if this would work for you because it would keep your whole upper body warm and not JUST the arm...but figured I might as well mention it. I've thought about getting the arm warmers myself but have just never gotten around to it.
Also...if a particular part of my arm is hurting me I also buy those stick on heating patches (the generic versions of thermacare). They help me a lot with flares. |
ty i cant use the sticky patches on elbow but doc ordered lidocaine ointment so im gonna try that, she is also sending me to a person who makes arm sleeves that wont be so tight.

I have had some success with arm sleeves made for runners. They are Asics brand. They are not as tight as the under armor ones as they have more give. They keep me arm warm and also make it easier to wear a shirt against my skin. I did have trouble finding them. I actually went to a store that specializes in running/walking. Good Luck
