Loving my life!!!
Is it okay if I just say that and nothing else?
That's really all I have to say...hahaha. Nick |
Glad to hear that! Are you going through treatment that is actually working or is just that you feel good?
|
As Nick said, That's all he has to say.
That's enough for me. |
Way to go Nick, glad you are feeling better :)
|
That is awesome, Nick! Way to go.
I would just add, avoid highs that are too high, and lows that are too low. I've lost a couple people in my life, last thing they said was how great their lives had turned. I only say this because I care about you and everyone else on this forum. Kenjhee |
Ahhh...not something you should say to someone who has suffered from severe anxiety ;)...
...but, I'm sure I'll be fine. Thanks for advice and concern. Nick P.S. That's funny you say that because I was thinking about something similar while sitting at a bus stop today. |

I have seen this pattern several times. Each victim expressed the feeling that everything was great, right up to the bitter end. I now realize that heightened emotions of any kind can mask deeply unresolved inner pain. And that the real key to a successful life is not to seek the peaks, for with them come the valleys. The real key is to seek balance. ...and to watch for danger signals. Again, from what I've seen the biggest danger signal tends to be the giddy feeling that everything is going perfectly. I have felt this feeling myself. In fact, in the 36 years since my own accident, I have pretty much dealt with every feelable feeling there is, including anxiety and suicidal depression. Perhaps my words are of no help, and if this is the case simply ignore them. I wish you no ill will. I am simply tired of saying nothing and watching these people spiral down. If you're truly on the path of healing, more power to you. But in case there's more storms on the horizon, just take 'er easy, bro, that's all I'm saying. Kenjhee |
Kenjhee and Nick,
I think it's totally appropriate for everyone to have an opportunity to share without worrying about wether or not you should. (aside from obvious mean posts lol) What I love about this site is that you can pick and choose what you take out of it. I have read other posts from people that I actually cringed when reading it. I think we all have so much going on that passing judgements isn't a supportive action and we all want support. I'm so glad you had a great day Nick. We all need more of those! I had a great week last week despite medication withdrawels. Yesterday not so good. My husband had my car so I had to climb into his truck. No upper left pherphial vision after the injury so I didn't see the door jam. Yep!! A slight concussion. I am grateful for all the days I can smile and I'm humbled on all the days I cant. Despite my head knocking I'm still smiling today..but just more tired than usual. |
xxxxcrystalxxxx,
Just wanted to say that I love your last sentence (I am grateful for all the days I can smile and I'm humbled on all the days I cant.) Helps to put things into perspective. :) Quote:
