I just watched the movie 2012 today. Quite a concept.

Those scientists who watch these things have notated that the Earth has increased it's wobble on it's axis the past couple of decades. This is an indication of problems in the magnetic field, from what I remember.
I read long ago that some believe that the Earth has had polar shifts at least 6 times that they can figure. Some point to wooly mammoths found in the ice in Siberia with undigested flowers that are now found in the Israeli peninsula...indicating that they froze very quickly.
If this occurs, there's not much we can do...the cockroaches will survive, at least. And probably rabbits...:rolleyes:

I think this upcoming Saturday is disaster day on syfy channel. I love those movies. I pray that if I am alive when the end of the world comes about, it is nothing like those movies.;)
