Nopalea??
Ever heard of this stuff?
I hear its good for anti inflammatory stuff. Anyone ever try it? |
Ive seen it on infomercials in the middle of the night. I've never tried it but I'd love to know if it's worked for anyone. Of course, all the people on TV have had miraculous results with it.

hmm, from what my research is finding, its not as great as it claims, and its a multi level marketing deal. You be a dealer, have tons of boxes in your garage, then you sell and ask your neighbors to be dealers too. You make money when they make money...sounds like a triangle or pyramid scheme to me.
Research showed its a prickly pear. very little research has been done other than its a good anti oxidant. Well, so is spinach, and quinona and other good yummy stuff. I guess they assume we all eat a white bread american diet. Anyone else dig up anything worth a looksie? |
check out this thread:
http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/thread123160.html Check out the link in post #8... rather revealing. Basically I have never seen a product on a TV infomercial that wasn't strange and hinky. There was one a while ago for Vit D product...the first half hour was background which wasn't bad, but the product cost an arm and a leg. Vit D is pennies a day. Some of the infomercial places-- I remember Focus Factor... which was giving away a free bottle, etc... they end up messing with your credit card... sending stuff automatically. That product was on the net on many complaint sites. Shipping charges on TV products are also out of sight! I don't watch those commercials very often. I flip to CNN or onDemand in the wee hours. |
