Finally, things are really looking up!!!

:D I just got a "job", (only, pays a couple, dollars, an hour) which,
is fine by me, since, Medicaid would have a nervous break-down,
if, I make too too much!):p Anyhow, it's working for a crisis
hotline, which, is always, what I wanted to do, because, I live and
breathe the Mental Health field!!! I have an interview with the
woman on May 1st!!!!!! Whoo-Hooooo!!!!!!:D

All the best to you. I'm confused about the pay though.

Let us know how you go with the interview.

I take it they have training sessions etc. before people start?
Still confused about the couple of dollars an hour part.
It'll be a tough gig Phyllis working on a crisis line but a very helpful endeavour.

Please make sure you look after yourself especially when dealing with really dire and complex situations as you may come across in your work on a crisis line.

Wow, People on disability here are paid to learn if they're able so that they can get employment if they want that and feel able to continue through the process to employment, whether part-time or full-time.

I'm in Australia so it may be a little different (ha!) but here if one is on disability and trying to get back to work then there is a whole purpose and process by the govt. agency here to try to help that person as much as they can to get back to training or study, to get back into the workforce and not lose benefits along the way!
