Feet hurt worse when sitting

Anyone have the same. I also have Tarsal Tunnal so walking in general hurts like hell. When I sit or drive it's stabbing, throbbing. Sometimes it feel like my bones are pulling out of my toes.

If you have been diagnosed with tarsal tunnel, then Lidoderm patches may help.

Cut in half and place 1/2 patch over the instep. Place the other half above the large ligament shown in this diagram, above the ankle bone. This intercepts most of the nerves in the foot.

Sometimes using Lidoderms for a short time, say a week or two will stop over-firing nerves. It works that way for me, so I don't need them every day.

I have found that magnesium lotion, also helps. I use that on my left foot when the swelling starts (scar tissue from an old surgery).
I am using CVS Epsom Lotion, but they are discontinuing it from lack of sales interest. Another form is Epsom-It..which you can buy on the net.
Magnesium works on pain receptors chemically and turns them off. This receptor is called the NMDA receptor and is powered by calcium, glutamate and aspartate. So avoid MSG in foods and that can help. Low magnesium tends to keep that receptor active. Where there is compression, magnesium in the blood often is blocked from the compressed tissue, so the topical lotion, can work better. It is a good idea to make sure you are eating magnesium rich foods and/or taking a good supplement.
Here is my magnesium thread:

I had to give up a manual transmission car, and now can only drive an automatic. My ankle can't take the clutch anymore.
