I guess if you went in with somebody to help if you got in trouble, it would be ok. I couldn't do it. I live in a sauna state!!LOL. I want cool things. You're in GA, just go outside, same as FL

Don't sweat? Must be nice. Humidity went up today here. Sitting under a fan, dripping. Ugh. Time to turn on A/C

I found any moist heat relaxing and therefore rather helpful.....until I started having autonomic problems on top of everything else. Life gets complicated, eh?

it could be helpful to try FIRS. Dr. William Rea is a long time environmental medicine doc who recommends infrared sauna treatments for detoxification for chemically sensitive patients.

mainstream medical doctors are not concerned with the etiology of fms/cfg. they want to manage the symptoms. but if you or your doc believe that the cause may be environmental or toxicity related then it would be worthwhile to try firs sauna sessions.

also be careful of the sauna or clinic you choose. i know of one case where the sauna was emitting formaldehyde because there was hidden particle board used in the construction of the sauna that was out gassing during the session! how sad.
