Intelliskin sound off
We've talked about it here and there in other threads. Now here is a thread just for Intelliskin.
Do you have it? Which one? How long have you used it? How frequently and for how long at a time do you wear it? What improvements or problems, if any, did you experience? Will you continue? Why/why not? Any tips on sizing or anything else? If you have an Intelliskin shirt, please sound off. Thanks! |
I have the posturecue v-tee. I started wearing it a couple weeks ago and will wear it daily for a few hours. It takes some getting use to wearing, but it does seem to take pressure off shoulders and give me some relief of my symptoms. Yes I will continue to wear it because it also is a good reminder of posture. I am a 6' tall 185lb male and I wear the large. You need the shirt to fit snug. My son tried it on, he is 6'tall 150lb and the large is to big for him. I am buying him a medium because he wants one for playing baseball.

Intelliskin vs. postureshirt
If you have an Intelliskin shirt, please sound off.
Thanks![/QUOTE] I was also wondering if the intelliskin is any better than the posture shirt from alignmed, I bought two pstureshirts but they dont help that much. i also have a spinalQ rehab jacket which is great but is very thick and hot. i was thinking of getting the intelliskin bra for summer but dont want to spend the money if its not that good. |
I'm am 5'11' and 210 lbs so I wear the XL. Here are some of my previous posts regarding the IntelliSkin. I'm sorry if the chronology of the posts doesn't make full sense, I'll be glad to answer any questions. Please excuse my references to IntelliShirt vs. IntelliSkin, I meant IntelliSkin:

Not a lot of info but you can get a good look at the bra in the video. |
Love it! I cleaned out my pantry the other day with Eve and we did a bang-up job. :) It keeps my right scapula stable rather than flopping all over the place.
Now that I've owned it a bit, my only complaint is that is seems to stretch out quickly. Even though I'm only wearing it an hour at a time at most, it seems to grow and lengthen on me. I'm 5"12" and it will soon be a mini dress on me if it's not washed after a few hours of use. |

I posted this in a different thread but this is the right place for it . How are you liking the shirt? I am short and I already have a postureshirt so I am thinking about getting the bra except it doesnt look like it would support the tricep deltoid area. Also I am 5'2 and 128 lbs.with a 36D bust but small shoulders. I would usually order the medium, but the postureshirt medium was too large . thanks for any advice. |
Julia: I can't give you any advice on the bra as I don't own it yet. It looks like it offers no support in the deltoid/tricep area. What intrigues me about it is the possibility of being able to wear it in public and it could be hidden under clothes. I like the scoop neck and no sleeves on it.
Since you are 5'2", I don't think the Eve shirt will fit you well. I'd stay with what you are currently using. The Alignmed product was extremely short on me while the Intelliskin is almost to long. Intelliskin was good about returns and exchanges as long as the product was in excellent condition. I don't think you'd have a problem returning it if it irritated your symptoms or didn't offer the support you were hoping to get. I didn't realize they wanted $95 for the bra too. It's 1/2 the Eve shirt! Women get ripped off all the time with small clothing! |
