Pfizer's Lyrica falls short

This does not surprise me in the least. In lyrica's research stage a scientist was convicted of filing false research results in its promotion. This drug is another over rated method doctors push on patients as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks for this news item, Jim.

I've borrowed it for the Medications forum and our PN forum.

Many of the PNers already have failed with Lyrica.

thats funny as the makers of neuron tin were sued by the us government for stating this drug was good for helping in pain management, and won. as a note neuron tin is still only fda approved for use in seizures and epileptic control not pain management. what are we doing to ourselves

Interesting. I'm switching from Gabapentin to Lyrica starting tomorrow and now this has be feeling nervous. :/ Gabapentin helps with my burning pain, but it makes me so stupid/foggy. Hoping for pain relief + less side effects.
