Some people's parents....

I tell ya they can drive you nuts. Now Mom went to the hospital last weekend, it looks like it was just a bad UTI. But Dad can't handle her all day in his shape.

So Mom is convalescing in a nursing home for what looks like forever and Dad is going to get an apartment in the assisted living section of the place. (Sholom home over by Knollwood for those in MN.) They have an assisted living section, nursing home and Hospice. It really will be better for them. They have a little grocery store, dining room, bus service. If you don't want to go down to the dining room they'll bring the meal to your or you can make your own. Each day they do a call to check on you and if you don't respond they come up and check on you.

So Dad can get a ride to dialysis instead of my brother having to take him there and to Dr. appointments.

I was going to go up and help but after reflection on my status I might be more of a liability. I talked to Dad yesterday and I can tell he misses Mom so much. They have been married for 66 years next month and have been together since high school.

After dragging this on I get to my question. Could the stress and worry about my parents trigger stroke number 4 in me? I'm scared about that too. Both for their condition and when something happens.
I'm so scared for all three of us.
