The internet's helping me clean house
I'm going to be in deep puppy chow if I ever can't get the internet! I've gotten rid of almost all of my cookbooks, except a couple with sentimental value. Maps? I have Google maps. Dictionary? Thesaurus? French dictionary? Nope. Don't need 'em.
I gave my son a BOATload of cassettes, LP's, CD's, etc. If I only like one or two songs on the album, I'll find them online if I want to hear them. Canceled a couple of magazine subscriptions. Most of the articles were the same or similar to articles online. I'm trying to think what else the internet is making redundant. |
Don't give away or throw out your old pictures, though. If PC crashes, you lose them all. I keep a lot of mine on a personal free website though.
And don't get one of these gizmos..... http://www.youtube.com/embed/xWMkOwq2qIU?rel=0 |
Throw away PICTURES? Bite your tongue! I finally threw away some old negatives, and it nearly gave me a heart attack.

Oh Sally, that was wonderful!!!! I have a Roomba, quit working about that time also. The battery just refused to recharge. Poor doggie, he is in deep troubel

I keep all my documents scanned in, and backed up on a thumb drive, so if my computer quits I can start over and I havent lost a single photo or document or song.
Glad you are finding good things on line. |
