Tightness in throat

I have widespread PN. Now it is going up in my face. I feel sore spots like bruises on cheek. Now I noticed tightness in throat and ears plugged up.

Is this a symptom of PN?

The other possibility I thought of is that it could be related to drugs I am on. The new drugs for me are Tramadol, 50 to 100 mg per day. I am also on Lasix and Klor Con which are because I had edema from gabapentin. I am on 2700 mg GABA per day.

What should be my next step?

Allergies can do this...plug up ears. Typically using some guaifenesin can help move that fluid out.

Mucinex is one expensive brand, Mucus Relief at WalMart is another. You can use Robitussin liquid too.

However, Lasix over time also depletes magnesium and Thiamine (B1). Your KlorCon is only potassium.

Took some Coricidin I had laying around house. I noticed eating cold watermelon makes throat feel better.

Aching cheeks can also be referred pain from sinus congestion.

The guaifenesin is the best for this. Coricidin is just chlorTrimaton which is a good antihistamine, but very drying and it can make
sinus issues last longer.

Coricidin makes several formulas, this is the one for your pressure:

It is the guaifenesin that takes the pressure off the sinuses. Drinking more water helps too.

The Lasix can dehydrate you and make mucus harder to move out.

There is also a nasty form of Strep going around in our state. It is far worse and hitting more people than any flu.

If you have a sore throat longer than 48hrs, get to a doctor for a Strep test. My son is in good health and had this bug and had to go on two different antibiotics for it. He was quite sick with it. This variant tends to recur also, meaning comes back!

Sore throat did not go away. I went to convenIent care clinic. I saw PA. She examined my mouth and ears. She said thrush in mouth and that my ears were plugged up. She gave me Rx for mouth, Nystatin.

this may explain your red palms.

For best results do not eat or drink anything for about an hour after gargling with the nystatin. It should stay in contact with your mouth and throat membranes for as along as possible to work well.

Candida puts out alot of aldehydes into your body, which are difficult for your tissues to handle. You should feel much better once it is gone.

Please explain how red palms may be related. It seems perplexing to me how there can be white stuff in throat and red palms. My palms look like they are painted red.

Yeasts put out alot of toxins... and these may be dilating your
blood vessels.

There are also reactions to fungal infections called ID reactions.
Yours was mild, and they vary considerably from person to person. Some itch but others look like dermatitis.
