Please tell me we are not the only ones...
Riley got her Tiger 200 about 2 weeks ago, it has taken some getting used to as far as the size of the thing and the staring that we hadn't noticed in a while but overall it is an awesome stroller/wheelchair!
~BUT~ EVERY, yes, I mean EVERY single time we walk through those security things at the doors the alarms go off. I know it is not Riley, not her magnet, not my cell phone. Yesterday at therapy we took the stroller apart and carried it piece by piece through the doors at Pet Smart, the base is what is making them go off. WHY? I have called the area rep for Snug Seat, he has never had a parent/caregiver call with this problem. So any ideas? We have to "fix" the problem, it freaks Riley out when the buzzers sound, and on some of them the lights start to blink. HELP |
We have the same seat and I have never noticed it setting off any security alarms...that's strange. We are flying to Disney on Thursday...I'll let you know if ours goes off in their security gate. I would definately talk to the rep about this one.

I should be hearing back from the rep today or tomorrow, he and another rep were taking one out to see if their set them off.
He thought it was strange too, leave it to Riley to get the one that is "odd" I really hope that it is just ours and they will replace the base since that is where the problem is. I hate to think there is something in the newer ones that is making those things go off and we are stuck with it  It is a little embarassing. |
Spencer's knee braces set off alarms. Of course, it is much easier for me to remove knee braces when we get to these devices than it is for you to dismantle a chair.
What a deal! |
